One of the most popular dramas ever, it garnered a 34.03% viewership rating when it was aired in 2001, one of the highest for a drama, and went on to win a hand full of awards at the Drama Academy Awards, including best Drama and Best Actor for Kimura's part. A special was aired last summer and was once again hugely popular. It was annouced last December that a movie is in the works with the original cast. 'Hero' the movie is scheduled to open on 8th of September later this year. |
More than a thousand fans turned out at Pusan airport in South Korea to welcome SMAP mega idol Kimura Takuya. His third time in Korea, he is there to film scenes for the up comming movie follow up to the popular 2001 drama 'Hero'.| < Prev | Next > |
